A welcoming pub where locals & customers of the neighbouring Porsche dealership drop in for a quick drink to wile away the afternoon over a decent bottle of wine, either in the relaxed, spacious wood-lined bar & dining room or the attractive garden tucked behind. The food quality is variable: while rope-grown mussels in curried lemongrass broth is imaginative & fun with plenty of zing, crispy duck with bok choy, egg noodles, orange sauce & pineapple salsa is bogged down by oversweetness. But with competitive pricing & pleasant staff, few visitors leave grumbling.
