The decor could do with livening up a bit & the sofas invite lounging rather than eating, but there is authentic tapas on show in this Barbican-side restaurant. Among traditional bites like Galician baby peppers, Iberian ham & manchego cheese are a few contemporary updates, notably monkfish & chicken skewers in a tasty marinade. With a happy hour to precede the meal & homemade ice-creams to put a full-stop to it, this is a handy spot for small groups & parties enlivened by regular DJ nights.
