Square Meal review of The Commercial:
As the profile of those commuting into this corner of south-east London changes, so too do the local amenities. A case in point is to be found in the renovation of this once-grim station pub. Setting aside the requisite exposed brickwork, wood panelling & mismatched furniture, the excellent beer list is clearly the main draw. The grub, however, is of the good, honest, healthily portioned variety. Those not expecting flights of gastronomic fancy should find much to enjoy in the short list of burgers, salads & sarnies.
