At Annex 3 (the 3 being pronounced ‘trois’, French-style) you’d better wear your Gucci shades because, with its garish gilt & glam-rock trappings, this eye-catching bazaar is an assault on the senses. Lethal cocktails, served in interesting vessels, are the things to go for here. Mary Mad-e’len, Bears Are Nuts & Japanese Scribble (a sake, ginger, rhubarb, vodka & passionfruit martini) are not as daft as they sound, as the fashionistas, PRs & media types who flock here all concur. Food is on the expensive side for gastropub-style offerings such as fillet of beef with creamed potato, shaved truffle & red wine sauce (at £21).
