The bar of boutique hotel The Gore, Bar 190’s steep prices & international clientele reflect the Kensington location, though proximity to the Royal Albert Hall also means that concert-goers use it as a pre- & post-performance pit-stop, not least because of its late licence. With oak panelling, solemn oil paintings & flattering lighting (particularly in the snug at the back) there’s a country-pile feel to the place, while cocktails are skilfully mixed with clean flavours & premium spirits.
