A winning combination of affordable pan-Asian sharing plates, fruity cocktails & the location just a stone’s throw from Trafalgar Square keep the crowds coming to Katana. By day, the first-floor dining space is bright, smart & relaxed, while dinnertimes share in the buzzing vibe from The International bar (see separate review) underneath. Crowd-pleasing starters might include tuna tartare or soft-shell crab tempura followed by sea bass with chilli, coriander & coconut cream steamed in banana leaf. There are plenty of well-priced, complementary wines to go with the food.
