Its carefully manicured yet scruffy interior suits customers who sport painstakingly ignored holes in the elbows of their cashmere jumpers. For drinkers, there is good-quality ale & a wide selection of decent wines by the glass. Though dishes allegedly change with every service, steamed mussels, lamb steak & various pies appear to be fixtures.
