Square Meal review of Maze Bar:
The bar at Gordon Ramsay’s much-admired grazing restaurant just about works in its own right, if you can get over the feeling that you’re in a holding area for the restaurant. Turn your back on the to & fro at the beautiful 1950s canopied diner-style rosewood bar – one of London’s most attractive – & enjoy some assured cocktails: Strawberry Balsamic Caipirinha; Pear & Vanilla Mojito; & Apple & Sage Martini are all class acts at a tenner. There’s a fine range of eau de vie, whisky & Champagnes & tasting plates such as wild sea trout with confit lime, fresh peas, capers & raisin puree are calling cards for chef Jason Atherton’s culinary nous.
