Unlike many other restaurant bars, this watering hole is a worthy destination in its own right. Fat leather couches spill out onto the riverside terrace, while a sophisticated menu offers up tasty marine snacks alongside elegant drinking. A small selection of wines has been carefully plucked from the restaurant’s main list, but the contemporary cocktails are also worth a try. Most interesting is the bar’s range of vodka-like aquavit, great for washing down the likes of rock oysters or seafood platters.
