One of a clutch of bijou Tom Conran hangouts on Westbourne Park Road, Crazy Homies does its best to live up to its wacky billing with neon and Tequila-induced intensity. Brightly decorated skulls, punchy colours and a wall of spirits all come together to create a dayglo Mexico vibe, while the place fills up with crowds of trendy young professionals who cheerily enjoy a diet of cocktails and burritos. Tequila rules the roost, so take it in one of seven margaritas or in a Mexican spin on a classic – perhaps a suitably fiery mezcal mule or a spot-on margarita with just the right balance of sweet, sour and salty notes. The menu deals in creditable renditions of popular Mexicana – from pork picadillo quesadillas to chorizo and butternut squash tacos or chunky baja shrimp burros – although Crazy Homies' real attractions are its buzzy vibe, surreal setting and pumping jukebox.
