As compact and classy as a Learjet, this exclusive little cocktail bar is a pleasant surprise squirreled away in the vaults beneath Harvey Nichols' grand City brasserie – a perfect bolthole for publicity-shy sophisticates, yet sufficiently animated for lunchtime get-togethers. Nestle on its creamy leather banquettes to browse the cocktail list, which embraces everything from calorie-counted skinny mojitos (Tapatio Blanco Tequila, fresh lime, mint and organic agave syrup) to a refreshing Aperol spritz or classic martinis made with your preferred gin or vodka – there are 15 of each to choose from. Cocktails are supplemented by edited highlights from the brasserie's expansive wine list, and the classy Champagne selection kicks off with own-brand Brut at £13.50 a glass. A short menu of burgers, salads and tapas-style nibbles fills any gaps.
