Square Meal review of Prism Bar:
Tucked into the basement beneath its showier restaurant sibling, Prism Bar may not have the profile of the glossy former banking hall upstairs but it has a considerable charm of its own, its modest dimensions & intimate atmosphere creating a fine, rather West End setting in which to sample the grown-up cocktails, from classic martinis to some seriously out-there creations. Try the Innocent Vixen with sake & creme de framboise, topped up with Champagne, or perhaps the Blazer – a sugar cube soaked in Angostura bitters & flamed with raspberries, strawberries & blackberries & either aged rum or Cognac. A light food menu helps temper the effects.
