Square Meal review of Chi Noodle & Wine Bar:
You have to hunt Chi down a dingy little passage, but once inside you discover a bustling little ground-floor bar & snug basement restaurant. The menu majors on Japanese noodles but it also goes pan-Asian with Malaysian laksas, curries & satays & Chinese dim sum. A short but perfectly adequate wine-list visits New & Old worlds & there are two or three popular fizzes to make the evening bubble along. Takeaways are available & booking is advisable because evenings kick off early. A good spot for small office parties.
