The name Carluccio is so ubiquitous at these smart deli-cum-cafes that you half-expect to find it embossed on the loo paper. But with the name comes Antonio Carluccio’s special appreciation for good Italian ingredients & flavours, all in full evidence both at the deli’s displays & in the reasonably priced soups, pastas, risottos, salads & meatier main courses served in the café’s cool, contemporary, blue-&-white surrounds. It can be a bit formulaic, yet most are welcomed warmly & leave well fed
