Tucked away on the eastern fringes of the Royal Victoria Dock, The Waterfront appeals largely to hotel guests & stray Excel visitors. The dining room is light & airy with large windows & views over the water, while the menu sticks to traditional hotel fare – Caesar salad or foie gras terrine to start, then fish & chips or roast lamb chump. A separate pizza menu is also available. For lighter snacks & cocktails, try the airport lounge-style Oval Bar across the lobby. Probably not worth going out of your way to find, but pleasant enough if you happen to stumble across it.
