From crimson & flame to shocking pink, lacquered & matte, this street-level lounge & slouchy downstairs DJ bar harnesses myriad shades of red to sexy effect. And the cocktails – Bohemian Razberi, Red Passion & Evening Breeze (vodka, Chambord & raspberries, served long with ginger beer) – are colour co-ordinated to match. Most wines from an adequate list that rarely ventures beyond £20 also appear by the glass, while Laurent-Perrier rose seems like the obvious Champagne choice in such rouge rooms. Snacks are of the Asian street-food variety: shu mai dumplings, chilli scallops with mango salad, & crispy duck rolls with hoisin sauce. Thankfully, at £6.90 a cocktail, your bank balance need not go into the red.
