Parlour
The Parlour serves breakfast, afternoon tea and comfort food during the day, but morphs into a lively metrosexy members' bar by night. But anyone can rock up before 9pm to sip cocktails and order nibbles – chicken en cocotte, bagels, fish pie, leek quiche, macaroons, and so on. The wood-panelled salon's quirky interior suggests Kirstie Allsopp gone rogue on lovely bubbly – a summer berry and Champagne mix from the list of well-made cocktails. Before you get giddy on rosemary martinis, it's worth noting that prices are more VIP lounge than front parlour. Also check out the Jetsons-style East Room and The Glade – a softly twinkling, enchanted forest like a ballet set for fans of fancy drinks such as Ketel One vodka with lychee and cucumber. Note to Sketch virgins: a trip to the Ridley Scott-esque loos is mandatory.
