Maintaining its status as a much-loved local, Camden Brasserie has been in business for 25 years & continues to charm its regular customers with classy surrounds, a comfortably buzzy atmosphere & ‘lovely’ fresh bread delivered at the beginning of the meal. The menu has global appeal, taking in dishes as varied as smoked eel on toast with horseradish cream, porcini & truffle risotto or fillet steak with bearnaise sauce & excellent French fries to soak up the juices. There’s the occasional murmur of quality taking a downward turn (‘fatty meat’, ‘surly service’), but a loyal crowd still loves the place.
