More Bar & Brasserie

Had the most amazing time here at this great bar in london bridge, so good you need to go!
From the moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly waiting staff telling us to take a seat. There is a great outside area with heated umbrellas and we were seen to almost immediately.
We enjoyed food that was great for me and the girls to share. Tasty plates, large and small. Like tapas, that allowed us to eat and catch up at our own leisure, with wine that was reasonably affordable with a vast choice to choose from.

The next date in the diary with the girls is made and the location is More bar Brasserie.

Having asked for a couple of glasses of wine for me and a companion, I had to go back to the bar twice before they were actually delivered. On delivery, the waiter spillta whole glass of white wine on my suit (fortunate it was white not red and I wasn't wearing a light suit). I travelled back home smelling of wine. The waiter apologised and said he would speak to the manager re discount, but when I went to pay the bill and mentioned the spillage, the manager just said “you should have told me earlier” and I was treated with total indifference and offered a measly discount.

The place wasn't exatly jumping at 5pm and I won't be going back – there are plenty of other bars round there.

Had lunch here outside on the terrace in the sun. Right from the start the service was slick, friendly and very attentive. The wine list offered excellent choice and we went for a bottle of Sancerre which was excellent. The food matched the rest I had sea bass with lentils which was delicious and perfectly cooked. I finished off my lunch with a sherry trifle which was the best I've had and smartly presented in a sherry glass. I have been to places for lunch where the coffee is an after thought but not here the latte was very tasty and a pleasure to drink. I will definetly be back.
