Square Meal review of Meza:

Meza has emerged from a recent facelift, & its former departure-lounge feel has been replaced with a sexy, sophisticated space of dark tables & candlelit booths. Not only does it look better, service has been stepped-up a notch, with ebullient young staff guiding diners through a sizeable menu of tapas-sized dishes designed for sharing (though there are larger plates of salads & steak sandwiches, too). Dishes roam the Med taking in the likes of salt cod fritters, char-grilled haloumi & folds of thinly-sliced Venetian salami. Cooking is solid rather than spectacular, which is fine because the real stars of the show are the cocktails. There are a number of in-house creations: would-be Carrie Bradshaws can savour a modish flight of mini-Cosmos, while party-minded groups will love the bucket-sized Champagne cocktails. With terrific nibbles & a jazzy soundtrack, it’s little wonder Meza remains such a hit with the post-work Soho crowds.
