Square Meal review of Soho Japan:
This little Japanese wins a big place in the hearts of its fans thanks to great food served in quirky surrounds – an old & intimate Irish pub with original features & wood-panelling throughout. There’s a tempting range of sushi (everything from grilled eel to sea urchin) & a good choice of hot food, from a simple char-grilled fillet of beef with garlic to bite-sized pieces of salmon neck served with salt. The dishes are perfect for sharing &, on the whole, reasonably priced & executed. There’s a modest selection of wines, sake & shochu to wash it all down with.
