The Abbey

Following a major refurb a couple of years ago, The Abbey reopened as a bright, airy pub filled with exposed brick, large windows & chunky wooden furniture – aimed squarely at the smarter denizens of Kentish Town. It still looks good & the crowds have stuck around, supping pints of Leffe Blonde from a good range of Belgian beers. The Abbey burger is probably the best thing on the menu, arriving with flavoursome meat & thick chips. On live gig nights (Tuesday & Thursday) the music can be very loud, though you can escape to the huge beer garden. Sadly, the selection of wines by the glass has now been cut to ‘white or red’.
