Square Meal review of Camerino:
This pretty Italian restaurant offers its customers a relaxed atmosphere & pleasantly modern surroundings. The menu offers few surprises, but makes a reasonable fist of providing honest, seasonally inspired food, although flavours can sometimes lack intensity. Autumn sees the addition of fettucine with black truffle to a menu that includes baby buffalo mozzarella served with grilled courgettes & drizzled with basil oil & roast sea bass with crispy sauteed leeks. Desserts are well assembled, particularly the chocolate & almond tart topped with a scoop of pistachio ice-cream. Portions may be generous, but prices are high, including on the interesting wine list on which few bottles come in at under £25, after which point prices rise sharply.
