With a glassy frontage that follows the curve of the skyscraper at whose base it stands, Curve is much the smartest & most formal dining room on West India Quay’s waterfront strip. Ensconced in the upmarket Marriott hotel, the surroundings are elegant enough, with club chairs, high ceilings & an open kitchen ticking all the right ‘contemporary’ boxes without creating a lasting impression. In culinary terms, it’s all about the fish: at its simplest, the catch of the day cooked your way with a choice of accompanying sauces, from aïoli to jalapeño salsa. The carte offers baked black cod with mirin-miso sauce, bok choy & jasmine rice, or there’s a tasting menu for £69 with matched wines (£49 without). Non-fish mains are limited to steaks, chicken & a single, rather lonely meat-free option. The wine list has useful tasting notes & a reasonable selection by the 175ml glass.
Travel to Curve at the London Marriott in style with London's leading minicab firm Addison Lee.
