Square Meal review of Digress:
The interior at late-license club/bar Digress borders on schizophrenic. Its softly lit red Moroccan room is completely at odds with a formulaic main bar that wouldn’t look out of place in a provincial high street. More likeable is Heidsieck NV at £29, a range of easy-drinking wines from £12.50, Brahma, Tiger, & Hoegaarden & Leffe on tap, & bar nibbles including mini Cumberland sausages, onion rings & dolmades. There’s a Now That’s What I Call Music soundtrack & the early 20s cocktail crowd tend to stay on long after the 5-7pm happy hour is past.
