Brixton Bar and Grill

In addition to being the area’s most chilled bar, the Brixton Bar & Grill is also a pretty cool restaurant, too. There’s a small but perfectly formed selection of bottled & draught beers, a sophisticated cocktail list (love that Orange Blossom Martini) & a sensibly priced wine list. Food served in tapas-sized portions features a range of fusion-style dishes: pan-fried sardines with pineapple & orange salsa, honey-glazed chicken livers on brioche, caramelised banana tatin. The backgammon club on Tuesday nights also welcomes players of chess, draughts & snakes & ladders. The DJ plays laid-back soul & funk at the weekends.
