Whether or not the river views seen through the huge windows compensate for Zakudia’s dull decor is immaterial to the punters pulled in by the quirky, well-priced cocktails. In addition to the classics, Zakudia offers the Southwark Sling (apple liqueur, apple juice, rosemary & Champagne), the Ginopolis (Plymouth gin, creme de mure & passionfruit) & Fidel’s Daughter (passionfruit, Havana Club, Grand Marnier & Benedictine). Although there are a few salads, the kitchen mostly focuses on shared platters & finger food to help soak up the alcohol.
