Though it’s a perfectly pleasant & refreshingly unpretentious pub, the best thing about Grand Union is its stunning canalside terrace, complete with alfresco tables & dedicated bar, where a DJ competes to be heard against the roar of traffic from the Westway opposite. But there’s plenty to pull you inside: cheerful, helpful staff; beers including Fuller’s London Pride & Honeydew as well as Hoegaarden & Staropramen; & simple pub grub that ranges from sausages, burgers & steaks to speciality pies.
