Despite the elegant setting – a gorgeous, high-ceilinged building full of period features – the Hollywood Arms is simply an upmarket pub furnished with wooden tables & chairs, slouchy leather couches & churning out simple but wholesome pub-grub. Steaks, salads & hot sandwiches keep lunchers more than happy, while cocktails entice a post-work crowd. Alfresco tables out front are like gold dust in summer, while the smart upstairs lounge area, complete with floor-to-ceiling sash windows & wrought-iron balconies, is also a popular spot.
