Tucked into the atmospheric warren of old lanes east of Broadgate, there’s nothing large or fancy about this civilised little wine bar, just a simple retreat from the office with a soothing green & cream colour scheme, a few high stools & an affordable selection of wines from a cosmopolitan list. More offbeat selections include the 2004 Wolftrap made by the Boekenhoutskloof Estate in Franschhoek, South Africa, which blends seven grape varieties. A short menu of club sandwiches, pork pies & Musk’s Newmarket sausages helps soak up the alcohol.
