A witty mural of a giant strawberry dominates the bar at Jam but otherwise it’s the Shoreditch bar from central casting, with floral wallpaper, graffiti & square leather pouffes. The cocktails & even the shots are often pretty complex, like the Bling Bling, which muddles fresh raspberries with sugar & lime, shaken with vodka & topped with Champagne. Simpler souls may prefer the Jam Sangria with Martell Cognac, red wine, fresh orange juice & fresh fruit, or perhaps the draught San Miguel & bottled Kronenbourg 1664.
