A minor makeover may have made this Japanese marginally more comfortable & attractive, but brusque, unbending service contributes more to the chilly atmosphere than the fierce air-con. The food is generally pretty good, however: squeaky fresh sushi, good noodles & light, ungreasy tempura. Thankfully there’s a full takeaway service so you can enjoy the cooking in warmer surrounds at home.
