The Library Bar at The Lanesborough retains its position somewhere near the pinnacle of distinguished drinking. The genteel service matches the majestic surrounds, which resemble the drawing room of a country-house hotel, with plush upholstery & book-lined shelves. Vintage Cognacs are the tipple of choice, but there’s also a range of perfectly mixed cocktails – try The Lanesborough Martini (Wokka sake, strawberry purée & fresh mint) for size.
