Job-lot tables & chairs, paper tablecloths & tinny Thai tunes do not win this cheap, friendly & amusing Thai cafe any bonus points for aesthetics. But its menu does expand on the usual suspects to offer such house specialties as the deeply aromatic ‘Little Lamb Lost in the Wilderness’ – lamb with loads of Thai herbs & kaffir lime – & Hot Talay, a highly spiced seafood melange. If you like what you taste, go back on Sundays to attend the cookery school & find out how it’s done.
