This homage to North Africa, with its tiles, lanterns, handmade rugs & cushions, may seem a little over-the-top exotic, but enter into the spirit & you’ll enjoy a delightful night out. Chef Abdul is Moroccan & his cooking is the real deal, from sardines m’charmla (stuffed with parsley, coriander & garlic, served with aromatic tomato sauce), to couscous royale & tajin bel hout (fish tagine), followed by bagrir (honey pancakes) or baklawa. The short wine list features Algerian & Moroccan regions, with France & Spain filling in the gaps, & there’s even Moroccan beer on offer as well.
