Endurance

A handy gastropub by day, the appealingly distressed Endurance’s kitchens run to potted prawns & terrines, spicy Bulgarian stew with homemade olive bread, or chorizo salad with new potatoes & pancetta. Evenings are a different matter: food disappears & Soho style monkeys & hard-drinking musos take over the joint. Half a dozen wines & standard spirits are popular, but are usually outsold by Deuchars IPA, London Pride & strong lagers. Photographers, models, club kids &, yes, recording artists you might actually recognise monopolise Soho’s best jukebox or step up to the oche for a game of darts: the Endurance scores double top every time.
