Shaken up by the team behind LAB (London Academy of Bartenders), the cocktails at Townhouse are kicking – try the Jamboree, a winning mix of rhubarb vodka with passionfruit & guava puree, mango syrup & lemon juice. Visit mid-week & it’s a sophisticated place to sample a well-made cocktail, being housed in a converted Georgian townhouse & done out in aubergine shades with leather seating. But on the weekends the music cranks up & the place fills up with Eurotrash & young Sloanes, who like getting lashed on Porn Star Martinis, served with a shot of Champagne on the side.
