This smart hotel restaurant is a confident & assured operation &, with its imposing high ceilings, rich colours & walnut panelling, Brasserie Roux looks the part for serious business. An appealing menu, created by Albert Roux, majors in classic brasserie fare, so dinner might start with ballotine of foie gras, French beans & toasted brioche & move on to cassoulet of duck, or else there’s a smattering of more unusual dishes such as pike quenelle with mushroom & lobster sauce.
