Dark & moody, this much-loved bar & restaurant combo is a real winter warmer, specialising in well-made comfort food from Britain & beyond. Most of the dishes are home-grown – think bangers & mash with Neal’s Yard cheese or Eton mess to follow – but international classics like Caesar salad & Thai green curry also make appearances & there’s a great steak, too. A clever little wine list pitches the quirky likes of Chateau Musar from Lebanon next to more familiar bins.
