With cherub-frescoed ceilings & shiny mother-of-pearl furnishings, the recently refurbished Star of India is as flamboyant as its owner, chef & TV regular Reza Mahammad. The food, too, is similarly colourful: expect whole leg of lamb slow-cooked with yoghurt, papaya, ginger & cloves, & sea bass baked in banana leaf with a mango dressing, though there are old-school classics too.
