Looking for the best roast beef in town? The Rib Room at Jumeirah Carlton Tower is up there at the top. It serves high-quality meat with generous side orders in a spacious dining room of gilt furnishings, low-level lighting & where a pianist tinkers away in the background. It’s all very glamorous, in a cruise ship sort of way. Prices aren’t for the faint-hearted – even Sunday lunch clocks in at £47 for three-courses – but the menu offers heaps of choice & classics such as prawn cocktail, grilled Dover sole & roast Gressingham duck with spiced cherries are all expertly prepared & served with panache.
