Vodka, not sedition, is the raison d’être at Revolution. This national chain has its own ‘dedicated vodka factory’ churning out a mind-boggling array of flavoured spirits, from birthday cake to Turkish delight by way of cola cubes & black jacks. Such curiosities make the cocktail specials seem rather tame by comparison – the Del Boy (Eristoff, Blue Curaçao, pineapple juice & Teichenné coconut liqueur) is as out there as it gets, while the classy date’s choice is the cosmopolitan. Beers are in short supply & the wine list is a rather perfunctory affair, so best stick with vodka – it even makes it into the chain’s signature burger & pizza. The rest of the burgers, wraps, nachos & steaks are, however, alcohol-free.
