City veggies turn again & again to this simple cafe in the crypt of St Mary-le-Bow for both the ancient & atmospheric surroundings & for the most substantial veggie menu in the Square Mile. Spinach, red pepper & Stilton lasagne, roast tomato, broccoli & feta quiche with rosemary roast potatoes, or roast aubergine & Puy lentil salad with spiced honey dressing, bulgur wheat & roast red peppers are among the wholesome offerings.
