PJ's Bar & Grill

A cross between a snazzy bistro & an upmarket American diner, PJ’s boasts neatly laid tables, dark-wood walls lined with pictures of sporting heroes & a rather grand bar topped with a striking fan. The menu goes all-American with the likes of Cobb salad, burger & fries & sirloin steak on sourdough with horseradish & rocket salad, with the odd more international dish (cassoulet or linguine with lobster, chilli & coriander) thrown in for good measure. It’s all tasty stuff, though the brunch menu is the biggest hitter, best washed down with a Bloody Mary. The place can get busy (book well ahead for weekend tables) & neatly attired staff can’t always cope with the crowds.
