Sri Nam is a popular spot for Wharfers wanting a reliable pan-Asian fix in atmospheric surroundings. The space is divided between a buzzing oriental cafe-bar downstairs, which is ‘great for a quick bento box’, or climb the sweeping staircase to an elaborately decorated formal dining room. This brings a ‘refreshing touch of exoticism’ to Canary Wharf with velvet wallpaper, bead curtains made from sparkling jewels & white feather lampshades. Highlights on the menu include revitalising tom yum soups, sizzling plates of scallops & prawns with mixed veg & slow-cooked beef rendang curry with grated coconut & potato. The downstairs bar has a happy hour from 5-7pm & flat-screen TVs show all the major sporting events.
