Square Meal review of Oliveto:
More expensive than your usual pizzeria, fans nevertheless claim Oliveto is ‘the best pizza place in town’ & it does offer something out of the ordinary. The decor isn’t like your regular pizzeria – blond wood & graphic-print walls – & neither is the menu. Start with (raw) sea urchin crostini or beef carpaccio before choosing between expertly dressed pastas & crisp-bottomed pizzas, of which the seafood varieties – crab, garlic & parsley, say – are best. Desserts can seem pedestrian by comparison so it’s worth noting that The Chocolate Society has a shop just opposite.
