‘A great Lebanese’, the stylish Noura serves up ‘immaculately prepared & presented’ food in ‘pleasant, airy surroundings’ tended by ‘extremely accommodating & polite staff’. Its varied menu is dominated by excellent mezze & prices are surprisingly reasonable for such smart surrounds. The usual suspects are present & correct, but ask for recommendations: there are more unusual things like batrakh (raw fish with garlic & olive oil) or one of many takes on nayeh (lamb tartare). If you’re hungrier for more than mezze, there are grills & yummy breads & sweetmeats to finish. Tables are spaced generously enough for private business, while many local companies use the efficient takeaway service. Wines are nice, too, but the lovely fresh juices are better for lunchtime.
