The sign over the door to this Davy’s outpost tucked into the foundations of London Bridge invites you to try ‘Old Ale & Port’, while further signs by the door suggest ‘Foreign Wines, Neat & Imported’. In short, this is a conscious (some would say self-conscious) attempt to hark back to Ye Olde Englande, but the traditional take on nostalgia appeals to local office workers & tourists alike.
