The mock rusticity of this King’s Road pizzeria, with its distressed cement walls & fake balconies, is almost laughable. Not nearly as amusing are the surly staff & the rather poor range of salads & pastas. So why on earth is the place packed out nightly? Well, it all comes down to the fact that Made in Italy churns out some of the best pizzas in town. For under a tenner, you can dig in to crisp bases heaving with the likes of spinach, ricotta, porcini mushroom & spicy sausage. The roof terrace for summer alfresco is another plus.
