Being ‘in the loop’ implies a peer group’s shared knowledge about some matter of importance. In the case of Oxford Street office workers & shop assistants, that will be where to find a bottle of Chardonnay when they turn off their PCs & tills for the day. The Loop’s four bars host a generous happy hour until 7pm, after which time budget cocktails & wines keep a young crowd happy. There’s a permanent party vibe with a club that has seen Mikey from Big Brother 7 at the decks – hardly Pete Tong, but hey, he’s famous, isn’t he? Otherwise expect the occasional fashion show & flirty behaviour at Wednesday’s Retail Therapy sessions. The slightly bland decor is retro airport lounge chic & food means anything from prawn crackers to fajitas via beefburgers washed down with Sol.
